JSM College is situated in Alibag city. College is surrounded by heritage places like Kulaba Fort and Alibag Magnetic Observatory.
Also, College is nearby to the major transport hubs i.e. Alibag ST bus depot which provide mobility to the students to reach the college.
The college campus is well equipped with 14 classrooms for the teaching-learning process, a Library, Laboratories for all arts, science, commerce, BMS, IT and CS streams, and canteen. |
LIBRARY

Libraries are backbone of any civilized society and heart of any academic institution. Thus the library at JSM College also acquires a prominent place among the students and faculty.
The library of JSM College is one of the oldest and largest academic libraries in the Raigad district of Maharashtra. The College library was established with the establishment of college in 1961.
In the year 2005, the library has been shifted to separate new building. With a legacy that is close to 53 years, this library is spread in three floors having carpet area of 5648.52 sq. ft.
This vast repository of books has a collection of over 80000 books and subscribes to 90 print journals and magazines to cater the need of over 3000 students and 150 staff. Library also has access to over 3100000 EBooks and 6000 EJournals through N-list program.
Books in the Library are classified according to Colon Classification system; which is an Indian innovation, a rarity today.

AUDITORIUM
|
Auditorium has a seating capacity of 150. It is fully air-conditioned and acoustic hall; it has an advanced light and sound system that is managed by specially trained support staff. The auditorium hosts various academic and cultural events of the college. |
ICT Facility LAB
|
The ICT Facility labs support the curriculum of the college and the assignments of the instructors.
The college has spacious ICT Facility labs equipped with computer sets with the latest configurations and software.
All the computer systems are connected by LAN and lease line internet connectivity.
These labs are also equipped with teaching aids such as LCD projectors, printers, and scanners.

INTERNET FACILITIES

All the labs, staff and administration computers are connected to the internet with 5 lease line of 4 Mbps speed. |
LABORATORIES

The college has a number of laboratories. The computer laboratory, the science laboratories which include the UG and PG laboratories in physics, chemistry, Botany, Zoology are state of the art laboratories with equipment’s of unmatched quality. |
CCTV SURVEILANCE

The safety of our students and staff is our topmost priority, therefore college premises are completely under CCTV surveillance 24/7.
Ragging is highly objected and with CCTV cameras installed, immediate action can be taken against the intruder, and discipline is achieved. |
HOSTELS
|
The on-campus JSM hostel for girls is nestled in the campus with 600 square meters floor area per floor. The two floored structure has 20 resident rooms on ground floor along with a Dining hall, TV room and a Caretaker room. 18 rooms are available on the first floor. |
PARKING
|
College has a covered parking which can cater to about 160 two wheelers. |
